AK vs AK is all set to hit the digital screen on December 24, in which we will see Anurag Kashyap and Anil Kapoor, sharing the screen for the first time. In the film, both will be seen against each other portraying the role of being an actor and director respectively. Where in the film, Anil will play his own life as an actor, on another side, Anurag will be seen portraying his own identity of being a Gang of Wasseypur director. Now, Anurag has shared a throwback video of Anil Kapoor, where he can be seen in an interview and talking about the TV and film comparison. Seems like Anurag wants to show that when the TV has emerged in the early '90s it gave tough competition to the film business and now with the rising popularity of OTT has also marked a big question on the existence of cinema halls.

Anurag Kashyap shared a 90's video of Anil Kapoor in which he is talking about TV and film comparison. The filmmaker captioned the post, "Classic AK @anilskapoor ... the argument from the TV days still holds today for OTT. Even if the OTT costs a bit comparatively. Both will sustain individually. But look at that swag #AKvsAK @netflix_in releasing dec 24th." Reacting to the video, Anil wrote, 'Nostradamus?' and on the other side, Sonam Kapoor commented, 'thank god he quit smoking'. Check out the throwback picture -

In the interview, Anil said, TV is here to stay and will slowly take over the entertainment business. On which the reporter asked, 'And what about the film business then?' On which, Anil reverted by saying, 'The film business will go on, it's going to be a tough competition, the survival of fittest. Later on, the reporter asked him about TV and film star on which, Anil responded, You'll work hard to your best and people have to pay money to see us...competition is tough as when they go to see our film they have to spend 50 and when TV is a concern, they can sit at home and watch it for free.

More about 'Ak Vs AK', it is a dark comedy film by Vikramaditya Motwane which is set to stream on Netflix. In the film, Anil Kapoor will portray the role of a famous actor and on the other side, Anurag will feature as a director. The film's plotline revolves around a director who went into a public spat with a movie star, and how after being disgraced, he retaliates by kidnapping the actor's daughter. Sonam Kapoor will play the role of Anil's daughter in the film. The film will be released on December 24, Netflix.
