Netflix released the teaser of 'The Girl on The Train' on Twitter and wrote, "Join @ParineetiChopra on a train journey like never before. Warning: Board at your own risk." Well, in the film, Parineeti is playing the role of Meera, an alcoholic divorcee who gets embroiled in a missing person's investigation. Along with Parineeti, Aditi Rao, Kirti Kulhari are portraying the prominent role in the film and with this, Ribhu Dasgupta introduced British star Sammy Jonas Heaney. Check out Netflix's tweet here -

Well, the original 'The Girl On The Train' was an American psychological thriller film directed by Tate Taylor. The film was based on British author Paula Hawkins' popular 2015 debut novel of the same name. The film stars Emily Blunt as Rachel Watson, Rebecca Ferguson as Anna Watson, Haley Bennett as Megan Hipwell, Justin Theroux as Rachel's ex-husband, Luke Evans as Megan's husband. The film won several awards for its top-notch plotline and screenplay.
Talking about the Hindi remake, 'The Girl on The Train' was scheduled for release on May 8, 2020, but has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it is releasing on Netflix on February 26, 2021.
