According to reports from the Mumbai Police, the apprehension of the two accused transpired in Bhuj, Gujarat, during the late hours of Monday night. Both suspects, who absconded from Mumbai following the shooting, were successfully apprehended in Gujarat's Bhuj region.

The law enforcement officials have disclosed the identities of the detained suspects as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, confirmed by the Mumbai police.

The firing incident outside Salman Khan's abode unfolded around 5 a.m. on Sunday when two unidentified assailants discharged firearms near Bandra's Galaxy Apartments, the domicile of the renowned actor. The perpetrators swiftly fled the scene on a motorcycle, concealing their identities under helmets.
Delving into the Investigation
Dubbed as a "meticulously planned attack" by the Mumbai Crime Branch, CCTV footage captured one of the assailants aiming towards Salman Khan's residence. The assailants discharged a total of four rounds during the incident, leaving behind a live cartridge at the site. Earlier, two individuals were summoned by the Mumbai Crime Branch for interrogation in relation to the shooting incident.
Swift Response and Security Measures
In response to the alarming occurrence, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde engaged in a telephonic conversation with Salman Khan, expressing concern over the incident. CM Shinde also deliberated with the Mumbai Police Commissioner, advocating for heightened security measures for the actor.
Claims and Allegations
Subsequent to the incident, Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, purportedly claimed responsibility for the firing through a social media declaration, cautioning the actor that it was merely the "trailer." Additionally, one of the suspects in the case was suspected to have ties to gangster Rohit Godara, implicated in the murder of businessman Sachin Munjal in Gurugram.
Ongoing Security Concerns
Since November 2022, Salman Khan's security posture has been upgraded to Y-Plus owing to threats from notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Moreover, Khan has been authorized to carry a personal firearm and has bolstered his protection with the procurement of an armoured vehicle.
