Monica, who was convicted in a fake passport case and undergoing three-year imprisonment in Chanchalguda jail, had failed to submit her original passport before the court.
''Monica has lost her original passport. We will seek clarification from the Supreme Court on its bail order,'' Monica's counsel Pradeep Kumar told newspersons here.
The Apex court had put a condition in the bail order that Monica should submit her original passport before the CBI court.
Monica, who was acquitted in the fake passport case in Bhopal on July 16, returned to Hyderabad last night after her nine-month stay for trial in Madhya Pradesh's capital city.
The Supreme Court had granted bail to Monica on May 17 in a passport forgery case, in which she was sentenced to three-year imprisonment by the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
