But during the making of the film, there was a spat and fallout between its producers Anish Ranjan and Sohail Maklai.
Anish apparently had the support of the film's director, and the duo conveniently dropped Sohail Maklai from the project. Maklai's name was also removed from the film's credits.
But problems began when Sohail filed a legal case against the film's presenters ADLABS, demanding recognition in the film's credits. Sohail had an upper hand because the movie's title ‘Cash' was registered in the name of his company Essem Entertainment.
Anish Ranjan and ADLABS relented and Maklai's name was reportedly included in the film's publicity material from July 16 onward. But Maklai still doesn't seem to be cooperating with them.
Just days before the film's release, he still has to submit some important papers to Censor Board after which the film would be able to release on July 27.
The producers are hoping that the film releases this Friday, otherwise they would have to incur a huge loss of cash.
