Keeping their relationships private has never been easy for celeb couples, more so when they are not married. Prying
eyes and pricking remarks usually make sure that they either go the Abhishek-Aish way or the Yuvraj-Kim way.
But there are some who have managed to keep their feelings under wraps, away from media glare and
untouched by compromises.
After a series of romantic films together, like "Takkar", "Sapoot", "Qahar" and "Bhai", Sonali Bendre couldn't help
falling head over heels for macho-man Sunil Shetty.
But she chose to remain a silent admirer rather than
break Sunil's marriage to Mana, his childhood sweetheart. Perhaps, Sunil too may have given her a second thought
had Mana not already been there in his life.
He wouldn't have been the first person to have thought so, either.
Govinda had once confessed in an interview that had he not been married he would have proposed to Sonali.
Kareena Kapoor took just one movie to get a crush on Hrithik Roshan. The chemistry between the two was quite
visible in "Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon". But alas! Hrithik had already made up his mind about Suzzane. Kareena had
to back out.
Later, Kareena tripped over Fardeen Khan before finding her true love in the chocolatey Shahid
Kapur.
Then there are others like Sunny Deol who prudently chose a mid-way out. Taking a lesson from father Dharmendra's
dual life Sunny decided he would be with wife Pooja and yet, take care of Dimple.
Such has been his
arrangement that neither have the two women ever met, nor have they indulged in any mud-slinging. Insiders say
Sunny used to shop for Twinkle and Rinkie everytime he would go shopping for his kids. The Juhi-Raveena phase is
long gone now.
