Autobiographies are the order of the day in Bollywood. Senior celebs in the industry are either busy writing or promoting their autobiographies.
And the books are flying off the shelves, simply because there is
hardly enough authentic or official written material on our superstars.
The 222-page "King of Bollywood" by film critic and writer Anupama Chopra is a tell-all about superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Another book "Shah Rukh Khan: King Khan" by Deepa Gahlot has already sold 4,000 copies.
While the evergreen Dev Anand's autobiography, "Romancing With Life" raised a controversy with the 84-year-old revealing his flings and affairs with renowned actresses in detail, yesteryear's screen diva
Vyajanthimala also brought some skeletons out of the closet in her memoir "Bonding".
Hema Malini recently endorsed "Hema Malini: The Authorized Biography" by a close friend. Guess, now it's the Big B's
story that everybody is waiting to read.
