Now that Ranbir's Saawariya is released, he's all set to start shooting for his second film for Yashraj to be directed by Siddharth Anand with Bipasha.
She is getting her hair dyed a a very dark shade of black.. "I'm playing a much younger character. It would be very interesting to see him paired with me. The character he's playing is very different from Saawariya. I can't speak about my role. But it's a character no one will forget."
Bipasha starts shooting with Ranbir on 24 November. "And that's the day after my film Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal I got bored with the colour of my hair. If I wasn't an actor I would've taken my hair to the realm of the bizarre."
"We had lots of fun doing the film. There has been too much pressure on both of us to be paired together. John and I have a very light, tongue-in-cheek and frothy romantic angle in Goal.
Not like Jism where everything was dark and sensuous.Ours is a fun sporty relationship in Goal. Everyone looks real. We've actual footballers in the film.
It's the story of discrimination against Asians in the UK who are passionate about football. It's a triumph-of-spirit story where the outcome is known and yet audiences will find themselves hooked."
Bipasha plays a medical student. "The football team doesn't have the money to hire a qualified doctor. My character Romana is persuaded to take the job. It's a simple makeup-less character. John plays Sunny who isn't aware of his cultural roots. I've met boys like him in the UK. But the film is actually about celebrating football."
Bipasha now wants to do an adventure-sports film. "I don't get to play in Goal. But I'd love to do film where I get to go on the field."
For now she goes into the Taj Mahal film with Ben Kingsley. "That won't be on until August-September 2008. The script is now being readied. I need to do a period film. Never done one before. But I like the way my career is going. No regrets. I feel very comfortable with where I am."
