Although veteran actor Anupam Kher also features in it, he has not been able to impress lately.
Made by first-timer director Chandrakant Singh, the film is about men who stray post-marriage. For them the grass is always greener on the other side and Singh has tried to build a story out of an extra-marital dalliance.
The drama revolves round three couples - Prem (Ashish Chaudhary) and Khushi (Amrita Arora), Santosh (Rajpal Yadav) and Shanti (Neha Dhupia) and Mr. and Mrs. Khurana (Anupam Kher and Rati Agnihotri).
Santosh was looking for a docile wife who can follow his instructions quietly. He marries Shanti, a small town girl. However, after some time he realises Shanti is not the one he wanted. As usual, the disenchantment leads to petty differences between the two and finally, fed up with his wife, Santosh starts imagining other women as his wife.
On the other side, Prem and Khushi's married life isn't going smooth either, as Khushi is too demanding a wife.
By the end, however, how Santosh and Prem realise the importance of their respective wives and that is what the story of the film is all about.
Thanks to multiplexes, small-budget films with small stars are faring well. In fact, it's a respite from the usual designer movies.
