If you thought that crooner Sonu Nigam is destined to be a one-film wonder, you`ve got another thing coming. The guy may have signed only a couple of films - Raj Kumar Kohli`s Jaani Dushman and Raj Babbar`s upcoming venture - to test the waters, he has already been flooded with several plum offers.

Sonu`s stocks as an actor have risen after Ram Gopal Varma signed him up for his next production, which will be helmed by Rajat Mukherjee. The singer isn`t, however, going overboard. He is being extremely choosy about the acting offers that have come his way. "I am being selective about films since music will always be my first priority," he declares.

That should dispel the fears of many out-of-work Bollywood actors. The gifted warbler is unlikely to pose a threat to them in the foreseeable future.
