Jackie Chan to release music for Kamal Hassan film

The music for forthcoming Tamil film 'Dasavatharam' will be released April 2 by Hollywood actor Jackie Chan.

Oscar Films, which is producing the film, said in a statement the event might see guests like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi.

The movie stars actor Kamal Hassan in 10 roles, including that of US President George W. Bush, a wrestler and a scientist. Mallika Sherawat, Asin, Jayaprada and Vasu are also part of the cast.

The story of the movie, directed by K.S. Ravikumar and produced by Venu 'Oscar' Ravichandran, has been penned by Hassan himself.

The music of 'Dasavatharam' has been scored by Bollywood composer Himesh Reshammiya and is being released by Sony BMG in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

The film, made on a budget of Rs1.2 billion, has been shot in Chennai, Tokyo, Malaysia, Washington D.C. and Orlando.
