In 'Golmaal Returns' Kareena Kapoor is playing a character called Ekta who's fascinated by saas bahu shows.

The character is that of a young wife who under the influence of 'K' serials keeps accusing her husband (Ajay Devgan) of adultery! It's like a tribute to Ekta Kapoor.

She's apparently is so influenced by the shows that she's able to draw parallels between her husband's infidelity with specific instances of infidelity from some of the TV serials leading to hilarious consequences. And interestingly she is Tusshar Kapoor's sister in the movie!

Ekta Kapoor has reportedly said, "That's flattering! Long live the saas-es and bahus!"

Looks like the Balaji czarina has found more reasons to bombard TV with more saas bahu shows! Time for saas bahu haters to run for cover!
