Two films are clashing this Friday, the 24th Oct.2008. They are ‘Roadside Romeo', an animated film and ‘Heroes'. Let us see the pros and cons of both the films.
Two big factors speak about the movie. Firstly, Walt Disney for the first the time has stepped into the Indian soil and with joint collaboration with the Yash Raj's made an animated movie naming it ‘Roadside Romeo'.
Secondly, the hottest couples of the Bollywood Industry have lend their voice to this film. They are none other than Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Now do we need to speak more about the movie. The factors have already started speaking their mouth.
The only factor which can prove vital for this movie is that it is an animation film. It should be noted that the two superstars are not physically acting in this film but have only lent their voice.
Everyone in India
knows what they want to see. The crowd is used to seeing the action of Akshay Kumar, the crying and sobbing scenes of Shah Rukh and Shirt-off by the shirt-off genius Salman Khan.
An animation film only
appeals to children who drag their parents along to the theatre.
It should be noted that only ‘Hanuman' proved itself and was able to enter the box-office. This film certainly has all the drama of a typical Indian
film (a hero, a heroine, friends, a villain, fights, romance, etc.) in form of animated figures.
So the big question is that will ‘Roadside Romeo' attract all masses of people or will it only attract our local
heroes, we mean our local roadside romeos. We wish them luck.
Next is a film by Samir Karnik titled ‘Heroes'. Heroes is a multi starrer film starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vatsal Seth, Preity Zinta, Amrita Arora. The long list of most successful actors
give Heroes a credit.
The songs though are not all that appealing. The story line is good (although it's copied from a Hollywood movie). The story does have a motive and will draw patriotism in people towards
their country. It helps realizing the youngsters of the country what the nation actually is for them and they should respect it.
The cons of Heroes is that inspite of having such a big cast the music fails to attract people. People are also aware that it is a copied version of a Hollywood flick. The preview has only been average.
Let's see which of the two films will hit the audience hearts. Let's leave it to the people to judge what is good for them, or what went bad.
We would like to inform that after this Friday's clash between ‘Roadside Romeo' and ‘Heroes' are two big time films which have already started creating vibes into the soul of people.
They are Golmaal Returns
and Madhur Bhandarkar's much awaited Fashion. Both are equally demanding in their own pint of view. So will the people laugh it to the fullest with ‘Golmaal Returns' or will they see the good and the bad of the
‘Fashion' world.
Ww will surely keep you updated for the same. Till then enjoy with ‘Roadside Romeo' and ‘Heroes'.
