Ex-Miss World Yukta Mookhey's Bollywood career never really took off despite being around in the industry since last six years.

With her Bollywood career now virtually over and wedding bells soon to ring in, Yukta has tried another hand at acting but this time in the South film industry. She is doing a hard hitting Telugu film titled, Pratheekara Jwaala. The makers also aim to dub it into Hindi and release simultaneously.

A source close to the actress tells us, "Yukta was offered the main lead role and when she heard the script narration, she simply could not refuse the offer.

The film is about how a family in Hyderabad is devastated in the riots that followed the assassination of India's late prime-minister Indira Gandhi in 1984. It is being produced by P Ramakrishna Goud and directed by Siddique and is fast nearing completion.

The main attractions of the film are supposed to be Yuktha Mookhey's fight sequences as well as her bold exposure."
