While in the period of cash crunch everything at the shooting front looks shut down, Kamal Haasan has decided to start shooting for his multilingual film Thalaivan Irukkinran (in Tamil). The film has been decided to shoot simultaneously in four languages – Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi.

Gemini Film Circuit will produce the film which has already been estimated as a Rs. 60 crore project. The buzz is that Kamal Haasan will portray the lead in the Tamil version of the film while Mohanlal, Venkatesh and Rishi Kapoor will lead in the Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi versions respectively.

The film is themed on comic story with action to boost the laughter effects. The shooting of the film is tentatively scheduled to start in the early January next year and will continue mesmerizing locations of USA and New Zealand.

Hope something like what happened to Kamal's 150 crore film Marmayogi, which is postponed for global economy crunch, should not happen with Thalaivan Irukkinran and Kamal should start shooting at the scheduled time.
