UTV seems to be the favourite production house of John Abraham. He has already done many films with them already and has two more films in various stages of production with them.

But now John is all set to do yet another film for them. This film will be the directorial debut of UTV Software Communications co-founder member and executive director Deven Khote. The comedy film is tentatively titled as Film City.

The film will be produced under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. It is learnt that John Abraham will play himself in the film.

John's special relation with UTV came to light very recently when he on his own volunteered to reduce his acting fees by 60% for their film Hook Ya Crook. Following him all the cast and crew members of the film too offered to reduce their fees.

Speaking to ilovebolly. com, sources reveal, "Film City is scheduled to go on floors in April for a 50 day start to finish shooting schedule and is set in a locality outside a studio like film city, where spot boys, stunt men and camera assistants reside.

It's a slice of life and fun film. It is not moralistic and does not show the dark side of the film industry. It will also have a completely new cast apart from John for which auditions have taken place for six months. It is written by Sharat Katariya of Bheja Fry fame and has music by Ram Sampat.
