Smily Suri might not have got an opportunity to prove her actor-prowess on screen, despite being a part of the illustrious Bhatt camp. In-fact she has no regrets about it; as she believes in the famous phrase ‘slow and steady wins the race'.

Not many know this Kalyug girl has got excellent dancing skills. Smily has mastered over almost all forms of dance. You just name the form and she is all set to showcase her skills.

"I have an inclination towards dance since my childhood. I have had five gurus to teach me different dance styles such as Salsa, Jazz, Ballroom dance, Kathak, Belly dance etc, " chirps Smily.

On the occasion of Guru Purnima she has decided to give tribute to each of her Guru. Smily will spend her entire day with them despite her busy shooting schedules. On being asked, what she has to say about her gurus on this auspicious occasion, she says, "My gurus have been my mentors at different stages of my life.

Be it Shiamak Davar or Sandeep Soparrkar, they all have contributed to the personality I am today. Discipline; confidence; patience are some virtues which I learnt from them and these virtues have become the pillars of my acting career."

She goes on to add, "I owe a lot to my Gurus. And there is nothing in the world I can give them, to pay back for what they have done."

As far as Smily's acting career goes, she has couple of films in her kitty. N Chandra's Yeh Mera India and Andalib Majrooh Sultanpuri's Down Town is slated to be released this year.
