Samir Dattani bags Karan Johar's next,  I Hate Luv Stories

Samir Dattani is currently on a new high because he has been signed by none other than Karan Johar for his next, tentatively titled I Hate Luv Stories along with Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Samir incidentally will be playing the second lead opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Puneet Malhotra (Manish Malhotra's nephew is directing the movie. Apparently Punnet had assisted Karan on Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Six years down the line Samir who debuted with Rajshri's film Uuf Kya Jaadoo Mohabbat Hai in 2004 went on do to a few films like Mukhbir etc. His Marathon did not make it to the theatres but that has not dampened his spirits. Samir is very excited with the projects on his hand now. He is currently doing Shyam Benegal's Well Done Abba opposite Minissha Lamba. He is looking at a new lease in Bollywood now.
