DID Li'l Masters' Grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty's first shoot with the kids of the Zee TV reality show was nothing but a blast!

The kids freaked out and so did Mithun da on the sets! Dada totally became childlike with 16 adorable kids around him.

"These kids are rock stars! I had an amazing time shooting with this bunch of mischievous but extremely talented bachaas...! I had so much fun after a long long time..." gushed Mithun post the shoot.

"Mithun da had actually become one with the kids! The children pestered him so much but not even once was dada irritated or annoyed! We had never seen this side of Dada in the first 2 seasons of Dance India Dance.. He readily agreed to sit with the kids and the skippers on the couch instead of the judges' seat alongside Sandip Soparrkar and Farah Khan!" said an onlooker from the sets.

It was very cute to see dada giving special pet names to the children.

Manoj was named ' Aloo paratha' because he had promised to get 'Aloo paratha' for the judges if he won the super wings but he never got it.

A slightly bulky 'Ruturaj' was called 'football'. Vaishnavi was named 'Pencil' because of her extremely thin frame.

The Bollywood actor also made a rocking entry with the kids, Farah and Sandip Soparrkar while dancing on 'Om Shanti Om' song.

Meanwhile, when it comes to kids, everybody just goes weak in the knees. And when the kids are as cute, chirpy and talented as the little ones on DID Li'l Masters, the anchors, the judges and the audience are simply left eating out of their hands!

So when it was time for the first round of eliminations on DID Li'l Masters, the show's skippers – Dharmesh sir, Mayuresh-Vrushali, Amrita & Jay Kumar Nair who've spent all their time rehearsing with the kids, coaching & grooming them, earnestly pleaded with judges Farah Khan & Sandip Soparrkar to not eliminate them just as yet.

Dharmesh sir said, "We felt that it's perhaps a little too soon for the kids to face disappointment. Besides, the kids are all brilliant. So it would be painful to see any of them go!"

So are the judges going to pay heed to this request? Farah Khan said, "Well, a show is a show. And if there is a format, we'll have to stick to it."

The channel, on its own part, is trying its best in ensuring that the kids are in good humor for the most part.

Reports have it that there's a charming play area for kids on the sets of DID Li'l Masters replete with comics, toys & board games to keep them engaged.

Most importantly, the shoot timings are kept in sharp check to ensure that the kids aren't over-strained.

Smoking is strictly not allowed on the sets and so aren't aerated drinks and any unhealthy food. With the kids being treated so sensitively, let's hope that the li'l ones that get eliminated in the episodes to come take it sportingly and just have a blast in the true spirit of the competition!
