Between 'Dostana' (2008) and 'I Hate Luv Storys' (2010), composer duo of Vishal and Shekhar had only one album to showcase - 'Aladin' (2009). This was quite a wait for the composers who are leading from the front along with A.R. Rahman, Pritam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Salim-Sulaiman as far as music in Bollywood is concerned.

Now that their work has started making its presence felt beginning with 'I Hate Luv Storys', it is only natural that they are mighty excited about their upcoming albums too.

Next to arrive is Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Anjaana Anjaani' where they are working with producer Sajid Nadiadwala for the first time. However, with director Siddharth Anand, 'Anjaana Anjaani' is their fourth film in a row after 'Salaam Namaste', 'Ta Ra Rum Pum' and 'Bachna Ae Haseeno'.

"But then for us, every single project is like a first film, whether it is with Siddharth or anyone else", says Shekhar Ravjiani who goes on talk about the brief that was shared with him and Vishal before they sat down to write music for 'Anjaana Anjaani'.

"Siddharth wanted us to create something that was never heard before. This could have been quite an open ended statement but what made it simpler for us was the fact that his vision was very clear. He knew what he wanted and was willing to give us time to create something magical", he continues.

While Siddharth has earlier worked with Yash Raj Films in each of his three earlier ventures, this is for the first time that he has forayed into a film that has come from the house of Nadiadwala Grandsons.

"When Siddharth asked us to create something that has never been heard before, he made us push the envelope", says Vishal Dadlani, "Also, Sajid showed immense trust and faith in us to do things our own way. We knew that there was an all around support and all we had to concentrate on was to keep the creativity quotient high."

Result was a soundtrack that made the makers gaga over all the songs. "Siddharth wanted is to do something which is radically different and in turn shock people. I am sure quite a lot of people would be shocked - hopefully in a pleasant way - when they hear what has been created for 'Anjaana Anjaani'", winks Shekhar.
