Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has revealed that his upcoming film "Rakta Charitra" will be the most violent film ever seen on Indian screen.

Varma wrote on microblogging site Twitter: "'Rakta Charitra' will be definitely the most violent film ever... but every violent act in it comes from a very deeply and intensely felt emotion."

The film is based on the life of slain leader Paritala Ravindra to be played by Vivek Oberoi, while Shatrughan Sinha plays N.T. Rama Rao. Tamil actor Kota Srinivasa Rao and Radhika Apte will also feature in it.
