Salman Khan is all set to go for Partner 2 with veteran director David Dhawan. The huge success of Partner that was released three years back is the force behind this move by Salman Khan. He is in talks with the director regarding the sequel to the comic adventure.

Focusing on the proceedings to shape up the project, Salman said in an interview that David Dhawan and he are discussing the matter with the rest of the unit. The duo, Salman and Dhawan, has earlier given blockbusters – Mujhse Shaadi Karogi in 2004 and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya in 2005.

Presently our Sallu Bhai is abuzz with excitement about his upcoming action flick Dabangg. He is promoting the movie all over India. Dabangg is the debut production venture of Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan. The movie stars a new Bollywood female face, Sonakshi in the female lead. She is daughter of veteran Bollywood actor Shatrughan Sinha.

The comic pair of Salman and Govinda was responsible for the enormous success of Partner. Will Govinda be seen pairing with Salman Khan in Partner 2? Salman did not comment.
