Director Anaand L Rai signs Kangna within a week after Tanu Weds Manu gets released

Although Tanu Weds Manu released last Friday, director Anaand L Rai has signed on Kangna Ranaut for his second film as well.

His second film will be, "An intense Indian love story, but this time the backdrop won't be Punjab." He claims that it will be difficult to work without his fav actress.

I know her so well that I can just mould her the way I want. When we work together its magical. In my next film I will go closer to love but keeping the humor intact.

It's been a beautiful tough journey making Tanu Weds Manu but this time I want to make a film closer to my vision."

Mutual respect

He's not sure if he will cast any other actor from his first film, "I love all my actors but I won't be dishonest to my script."

Kangna says, "I am thrilled with Tanu Weds Manu. It's my best work so far. I have won awards before for other films but I have never been so thrilled about any other film.

I have arrived. Normally, I take a break from directors I have worked with before but Anaandji is so special that I can never refuse him. He knows me so well and I can't imagine his film without me.

I feel fortunate to be a part of this film. I am happy that the film's doing good business even though the world cup is going on."
