Making films with international collaboration or have international co-producers has become the order of
the day in Bollywood. The latest to get on to the bandwagon is producer-director Govind Menon, reports
Bollywood Trade.
"It is something that I had been contemplating for a long time," Menon said.
"Lest people forget, I completed my graduation in the US with a diploma in filmmaking from Texas University.
It is an altogether different market there with endless possibilities of exploring new subjects.
"In India we are stuck with the Bollywood format where you have to repeat the same subjects, record songs
and go by the censors and the market. This cannot be said of the films released abroad," Menon asserted.
He did not provide any details of his venture.
