The producer-director-actor lists his pick of flicks. . .

TEESRI MANZIL: I am a big fan of Vijay Anand's flicks. The intrigue and suspense in the plot without that in-your-face action is something I found marvellous. I have watched this Shammi Kapoor-Asha Parekh starrer umpteen times.

JOHNNY MERA NAAM: This again is a Vijay Anand film which starred Dev Anand in the role of a pair of brothers separated in childhood. Mistaken identities is something I found fascinating.

SHOLAY: This movie has been a memorable part of my childhood days for obvious reasons. Yes, I knew all the lines by heart.

BACK TO THE FUTURE: The concept of time travel was fascinating. I used to find the subject mindboggling.

STAR WARS: George Lucas' epic franchise was an integral part of my growing up days. Science and fiction make for a heady mix.
