Television czarina Ekta Kapoor doesn't like to go for audience research and believes in creating new things and setting trends.

"I believe in a lot of conversation with youngsters. I don't believe in research because research is all about past experiences. Tomorrow whatever work we do will become research. But how we did it will never be researched, " Ekta told.

"I don't believe in audience research as I believe I will be limiting myself...I rather do what I am doing without thinking what others think, " she added.

Ekta's production house Balaji Telefilms has produced off-beat movies like "Love Sex aur Dhokha", "Shor in the City" and "Ragini MMS". She is now producing "The Dirty Picture", inspired by late south Indian actress Silk Smitha's life.
