Gorgeous Kareena Kapoor finally joined the world of micro-blogging but for promoting her upcoming film 'Heroine'. Kareena joined Twitter via the account of UTV motion pictures.

She is likely to share with her fans the experience of working in the film. "Kareena is busy shooting but the Heroine will keep you updated on more stuff, " UTV Motion Pictures tweeted.

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the shooting of the film commenced on Nov 26 at Mumbai's Film City studio.

Actor Arjun Rampal will be seen playing the love interest of Kareena.

The film also features Randeep Hooda, Arunoday Singh and Shahana Goswami.

Bhandarkar had earlier signed Aishwariya Rai Bachchan for the role but she backed out of the film due to her pregnancy and the film faced an abrupt halt.

The film revolves around the life of a once successful film actress.
