Nutri-care
I drink lots of water and eat balanced, nutritious meals and exercise to stay fit. I believe that eating nutritious food is very important and fruits form an important part of it. There are many dieting rules and one should figure out what works best for your body. Do not follow anything blindly or from reading books alone. Take professional help as well.
I don't like to eat everything together at meal times; so fruits act as good snacks in between main meals.
Fresh cut
I love mangoes and my favourite variety is Alphonso. Staying in Mumbai helps me get my fill of Alphonsos every season. I remember, during an ad campaign shoot, I had to pose with some freshly cut mangoes. I kept eating the mangoes and they had to keep replenishing them! But to tell you the truth, I like to make interesting mocktails with mango drinks. Fresh mint leaves and ice in a mango drink tastes divine. Also, mangoes make for just the perfect in-between-meal snack. Besides that, I like the simple yet cool and refreshing taste of dahi-chawal (rice with curd).
Going local
Whenever I travel to a new place, I make sure that I explore the local cuisine and culture. This time, I have tried the Cuban cuisine and it sure is very interesting. The fusion of Spanish, African and Caribbean ingredients and spices gives it a flavourful blend and taste.
I want to explore the country soome more, but it is a busy schedule as we are in a different country and it is a demanding film. Whatever little time we get from the shoot, we try and catch up on a bit of local culture, food, etc.
But what's got my adrenaline running are the stunts that I have to train for as I'm performing them in the film. It is going to be an exciting and a new experience.
