Sufi exponent Kailash Kher will entertain Delhiites at a musical show organized by Vishwas, a non-governmental organization (NGO) working for handicapped children, in the national capital on Wednesday.

For this special event, Kher will be directly coming from his UK tour to entertain the audience with his songs.

"I have complete trust on the efforts of Vishwas and I give them my best wishes that they do more such noble deeds in future as well. And in future also I will lend my hand to them whenever they need it," he said.

On April 3, one day prior to the start of their first ever UK tour, Kher and the band Kailasa recorded at the exalted BBC Maida Vale Studios.

The studio in the past has had only few of the accomplished and esteemed artistes like master of percussion Zakir Hussain, who first recorded at Maida Vale in the mid 1970s.

After Ustad Zakir Hussain only handful of artists like vocalist Susheela Raman, jazz pianist Zoe Rahman and musician/composers Nitin Sawhney and Talvin Singh were invited to record in the studio.

Talking about this experience, Kher said, "I am overwhelmed being in a place where top recording artistes like David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin have performed. I can feel their energy and am blessed."
