Four diverse filmmakers Anurag Kashyp, Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee and Zoya Akhtar have joined hands for a film called "Bombay Talkies" -- a tribute to Indian cinema's centenary. But Akhtar clarifies it will not be a documentary.

"Yes, I am making a film on 100 years of Indian cinema. But let me clear this... it is not a documentary. It is a fiction film, " Akhtar told.

Hesitant to give out further details, the "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" filmmaker said: "I can't talk much about the film till the producers make an official announcement on the same. But the film is directed by four of us - Anurag, Dibakar, Karan and myself."

According to reports, each director has made a 20-minute film on the same concept of how cinema is an integral part of almost every Indian's life and how it influences the nation's masses.
