In his upcoming film opposite Deepika Padukone, and helmed by Ayan Mukerji, Ranbir's role is that of a TV personality, who introduces new destinations to the viewers in the comfort of their living room, as a personal guide.

Our source says, `In the film, Ranbir is shown as an ardent traveller. Naturally, the shoot of the film moved from Manali to Rajasthan to Mumbai and then to France.`

And given the unique on-screen profession that Ranbir is in, buzz is that the film's production house has tied up with a travel channel.
