To avoid getting caught up in heavy traffic, Ayushmann Khurrana got a lift from his make-up man to reach his destination on time

While most actors prefer to ride in style, recently Ayushmann Khurrana ditched his luxury car to hitch a ride on a two-wheeler to reach work on time.

The actor was slated to appear for a series of media interactions in a suburban office space after wrapping up a shoot for a men's magazine.

A source says, `Ayushmann had been receiving many calls from the production house as he was already running late. It was peak afternoon traffic and the actor did not want to get stuck.`

So the actor let go off his car and instead decided to ride behind his make-up man Rashid on his two-wheeler. Says Ayushmann, `Rashid saved the day for me. I would have missed the deadline had I taken my car.`

Despite getting late, the actor made sure he obeyed all traffic rules, including sporting a helmet.
