Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who attended the premiere of his debut Hollywood project 'The Great Gatsby' in New York, says it
was an emotional moment for him to meet his fans
The 70-year-old actor was overwhelmed to see fans waiting for hours to catch a glimpse of him on the red carpet. "Lovely
meeting the Ef (extended family) and TwFmXt (Twitter family extension) and the FbXf (Facebook extension family... Such humility
in them, such respect and admiration from them... They are the winner," Bachchan posted on Twitter.
"I know that it was an emotional moment for many when we met up... But never forget it was equally emotional for me too. Your
tears of joy and emotion are difficult for me to take... I wish for only smiles on your faces... So lets see them please," he said.
The actor also shared the Youtube link of 'The Great Gatsby' premiere in New York and wrote, "Still worth the watch." Bachchan
essays the role of Meyer Wolfsheim in the Baz Luhrmann directed film based on F Scott Fitzgerald's novel.
It also stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the enigmatic Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan as Daisy
Buchanan.
