"I know Poonam Pandey will bring in a lot of audience for the film, which is only good for me. My job was to give my best in the two hours. After that if marketing is focussing more on Poonam Pandey, that is not a problem for me," Shivam said here Wednesday in an interview.
"Nasha" has been directed by Amit Saxena and hits theatres July 26.
"She is established, people know her and she will bring recognition to my performance in the film. So I don't really care, my two hours in the film are my moment, that's where I want to shine," he said.
Shivam is still in his teens, but harbours dreams to work with big directors like Anurag Kashyap and Abhishek Kapoor as he loves their kind of cinema.
"I love Abhishek Kapoor, I am a big fan of both his films - 'Rock On!!' and 'Kai Po Che!'. I really like Imtiaz Ali, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap. So, I would love to work with any of these directors because I feel they make the kind of cinema that I want to be a part of," he said.
