"Time Bomb" was to be telecast on ZEE Television from Monday night.
However, the Delhi High Court did not say anything on the relief sought by Twentieth Century Fox.
Appearing for the plaintiff, Amarjit Singh Chandhiok said the defendant's serial "Time Bomb" had copied the format and style of presentation of the serial "24".
However, Twentieth Century Fox failed to tell the court the exact portions of "24" that it intended to accuse Zee Telefilms of plagiarising, taking the plea that it had not watched "Time Bomb".
Chandhiok said his client had only viewed the "power-point presentation" on "Time Bomb", which did not have any visuals. Unless they watched the serial, they would not be able to tell the court exactly about the portions of "24" that had been plagiarised by Zee Telefilms, he said.
Judge Anil Kumar viewed the video CD of Twentieth Century Fox's serial "24", which was screened on a wall of the courtroom for a few minutes. However, Kumar did not make any comment on it.
Later, counsel for Zee Telefilms, former central minister Arun Jaitley, refuted all allegations levelled by Twentieth Century Fox against his client, saying his client had made such serials in the past as well.
The arguments remained inconclusive as the court rose for the day. The matter will be taken up again June 22.
