It appears to be the curious case of the missing producer. Tigmanshu Dhulia's name has mysteriously disappeared from the list of producers of the upcoming Kangna Ranaut starrer, 'Revolver Rani'.
When the film was launched, Tigmanshu Dhulia's name figured prominently among the makers. But the newly-launched trailer credits Raju Chadha as the film producer and Dinesh Madan as its co-producer.
Tigmanshu DhuliaSays a source, "There is no mention of Tigmanshu Dhulia and his association with the project. Something is clearly amiss."
The film's writer-director, Sai Kabir, says, "In the earlier posters, his name was missing, and I have no idea how that happened. But in the new promos and posters, the names of producers Tigmanshu Dhulia, Rahul Mittra and Nitin Teja Ahuja have been mentioned." A spokesperson for Wave Films, the presenters of the film, says, "Due to time constraints, it is difficult to put up names of all the producers in every promotional material. But Tigmanshu's name appears in the standees that have been put up at several multiplexes across Mumbai."
Strangely though, none of the promos so far mention Tigmanshu Dhulia and co. Incidentally, when Tigmanshu was planning a title for his Saif Ali Khan-starrer, 'Bullett Raja', the actor had suggested the title 'Revolver Raja' instead.
However, after indulging in much wordplay, the star and co-producer Rahul Mittra zeroed in on 'Bullet Raja' as the title. Tigmanshu Dhulia remained unavailable for comment.
