Quite a few celeb families have heard voices of dissonance with a star supporting one political party and his/ her family member supporting another. We look at few of them...

This election year has been as good as any as far as star show at Lok Sabha polls is concerned. While some stars are contesting elections, some others have been vocal about their political allegiance - be it by way of showing support on social networking sites or attending rallies. What's interesting then is the fact that in quite a few celeb families, a discordant note has been struck thanks to the star's family member choosing to represent/campaign/vote for another party. hitlist takes a look at the families of these B-towners where different voices seem to co-exist in harmony...

Anupam Kher and wife Kirron Kher
This is probably not surprising given the fact that the BJP gave his wife, Kirron Kher, the opportunity to fight for a Lok Sabha seat from Chandigarh.

Amitabh Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan
In 1984, Amitabh Bachchan contested and won the Lok Sabha elections from Allahabad. But he resigned within three years. Later on, Big B started supporting his then friend, Amar Singh, and the Samajwadi Patry. Jaya Bachchan too joined the party and was elected as a Rajya Sabha member. She has also campaigned for the party.

Sanjay Dutt and his sister Priya Dutt
The late Sunil Dutt was part of Congress for more than a decade and he even became a Cabinet Minister. After his demise, his daughter, Priya Dutt, took over the reins of his constituency. However, Sanjay Dutt went on to join Samajwadi Party in 2009 and he quit it in within a year. Back then, he said that he was quitting the party as it had mistreated senior member, Amar Singh.

Pawan Kalyan and his brother Chiranjeevi
Instead of following brother Chiranjeevi and joining Congress, Pawan Kalyan recently formed his own party called Janasena Party. He even came up with a slogan that went, "Congress hatao, desh bachao." However, he has smartly stayed away from getting into a war of words with his brother and has not made any comments against him.

Vivek Oberoi and his mother-in-law Nandini Alva
The actor is known to openly support BJP's PM candidate, Narendra Modi. This, despite the fact that his mother-in-law, Nandini Alva, represents Janata Dal (Secular). Interestingly, he accompanied Alva during her earlier phase of campaigning in Bangalore. He even took part in road shows.

NT Rama Rao's son-in-law Chandrababu Naidu and younger daughter D Purandeshwari
Actor-director-and-producer-turned politician, NT Rama Rao, served as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for three terms, but his son-in-law, Nara Chandrababu Naidu (also from Telegu Desam Party), and younger daughter, D Purandeshwari (who represents the BJP) are known to not get along with each other.

In fact, Naidu a husband, Daggubati Venkateshwara Rao, have belonged to opposite camps for over 25 years; their rivalry is well-known. Purandeshwari has spoken against brother-in-law Chandrababu Naidu on multiple occasions and has even said that Naidu usurped her father's legacy.
