"My life is more than just films. I can't be an actress only," tells the budding starlet.
"I don't carry my work home. After pack up it's my family, friends and boyfriend who matter the most to me."
The candour with which she admits about her love life doesn't go down well with many but with Ayesha there is nothing to hide when you're in love.
Ask her what's cooking with her restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi and she says, "I admit I'm seeing someone but beyond that please don't expect me to talk about anything because that's really a private area of my life."
Though still termed as a newcomer, Takia never bowed down to the ‘demands of script' even if it cost her a prestigious film.
"I was not comfortable with the film. It had certain scenes, which would have embarrassed my family. I want them to be proud of my work. Everyone has his or her choice and that should be respected. However, there's no reason that I'd never act in a big banner like Yashraj Films in future," gushes Ayesha.
And it is her this strong will which has earned her many new assignments including Nasserudin Shah's directorial debut ‘Yunh Hota To Kya Hota'.
Her other projects include David Dhwan's Shaadi No 1, where she plays a doting wife, Satish Kaushik's Shaadi Se Pehle, Nikhil Advani's Salame Ishq and Home Delivery with Vivek Oberoi.
