Abhishek gets nostalgic about 'Yuva' as the Mani Ratnam movie marks a decade

Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan seemed to be having fond memories of his 2004 film, 'Yuva'.

The actor took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the political drama that was released on this very date (May 21), a decade ago.

10yrs since the release of YUVA. A film that changed it all for me. Very special. Will listen to the soundtrack with fond memories.

- Abhishek Bachchan (@juniorbachchan) 'Yuva' is considered to be one of Abhishek Bachchan's best onscreen performances. It was this Mani Ratnam film that proved his skill as an actor.

In 'Yuva' Abhishek played the role of a local goon, Lallan Singh opposite his then rumored love, Rani Mukherji, who plays his wife in the film.

Abhishek Bachchan garnered immense praise for his portrayal of the 'angry young man' just like his father, Amitabh Bachchan. The film had a good run at the box office and earned Abhishek the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
