Sidharth Malhotra's mother has always seen the Sid in very sweet and soft spoken persona. But, recently she was shocked after watching Sidharth in the trailer of his upcoming film, "Ek Villain". She said, 'I believe that in this trailer Sid is something different from his real life personality.'

The trailer of "Ek Villain" has showcased Sidharth in an all new avatar as he will be seen playing a grungy, dark and intense role for the first time. The young actor, who made his Bollywood debut with "Student of the Year", was recently seen in "Hasee Toh Phasee" and in both the films as a romantic, lover boy image. His mother has always thought of him as a chocolate boy. But his mother feels it is a pleasantly shocking departure.

Sidharth's mother has been constantly receiving positive feedback from family and friends and she is keenly looking forward to more content from the film, which also features Shraddha Kapoor.

Sidharth confirms the news and adds, "I will be seen in a very different role in 'Ek Villain'. It is unlike what I have done previously. The trailer has received positive feedback from all quarters and it is overwhelming."
