The trailer of upcoming romantic musical film inspired by a true love story, 'Jigariyaa' has impressed another filmmaker of Bollywood. Rajkumar Hirani, who is currently busy with his upcoming film PK, is completely impressed with the trailer and the lead couple of 'Jigariyaa'.

The lead actor of 'Jigariyaa', Harshvardhan Deo had met Rajkumar Hirani a year- and-a-half ago. Recalling the meeting, Hirani says, "We all know it's difficult to get work in the industry and I suggested Harshvardhan to focus on his talent and he'd eventually get work. After that, he has always kept me updated. A few days ago, he came to me with his film's trailer and when I saw it, I was glad."

Hirani, who loved the trailer, said, "I come from a small town and that's the reason I can relate to Jigariyaa. I can sense the small city's fragrance, which attracted me to it. After watching the trailer, I met Raj and Vinod. They have worked passionately on the movie. I've decided to see it when it's ready and for now, I wish the entire team all the best."


Directed by Raj Purohit, 'Jigariyaa' is produced by Raju Chadha & Vinod Bachchan, introducing Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia in lead roles. The film is written by Raj Purohit & Apratim Khare based on true events. Based in Agra circa 1988-89, 'Jigariyaa' is scheduled for release on October 10, 2014.
