Rajkumar Santoshi's "Family - Ties Of Blood", scheduled to hit screens Jan 13, is expected to rake rich returns at the box-office.

The distributors are extra confident about its box-office prospects.

According to distributor Ravi Macchar, who has released most of Santoshi films, including "China Gate", "Pukaar" and "Lajja", there are no two ways about the film making its mark. He says "Family" is full of intense emotions and daredevil action, last seen in Santoshi's "Ghatak".

"Amitabh Bachchan has a totally different role in the film and the audiences are looking forward to seeing the Amitabh-Akshay combination once again after 'Waqt'," he says.

Incidentally, "Family" will clash with Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt's stylised film "Zinda", which also releases the same day.
