Rohit Shetty is all set to begin shooting for his next with Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. However, if the latest buzz in the industry is to be believed, the director plans to release the film alongside two big-banner productions.
Says a source, "Rohit wants to release his film on Christmas as the other big dates of the year are already taken. If that happens, this film will clash with Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'."
Apparently, Rohit met SRK for a narration and the shoot of the film is likely to begin around March-April. "Shah Rukh and Rohit have finalised things and he is planning to release the film on the occasion of Christmas but it depends on how the project shapes up," adds the source.
The report of 'Tamasha' and 'Bajirao Mastani' releasing on the same day raised quite a few eyebrows. Now, with the addition of Rohit Shetty's film to the list, it surely will be a battle of the biggies.
Rohit remained unavailable for comment.
