Janelle Williams
Age: 23
I am a mathematics and organic chemistry lecturer at Antigua State College. I would like to continue studies in Medicine or Physical Therapy. I love my family, enjoy my pets and love gardening. I also have the honour of participating in my church choir, often singing soprano solo parts. My first love though, is dance! I’ve trained in ballet since the age of six and enjoy dancing to all music, especially hip-hop and jazz-funk.
I speak English and was a cheerleader for the University of Miami while I studied there. I have set up and run an annual summer Dance Workshop for young people in Antigua since 1998. I love observing the gain in confidence, self-discipline and self-esteem in these children and I feel blessed that I have been part of their transition.
