Sanja was born in Tuzla, lived in Germany during the war in her country, she is now back in her home town famous for its “kula”, grandacac, panonsko lake, modrac lake, and its historic park. Sanja has finished her high school education and is in her first year as a student of the german language, her ambition is to work as either a translator or professor, combining this with the fashion industry. Some of the most interesting work she has done is giving german and english lessons to the children. Hobbies and sporting interests are: reading, literature, volleyball, swimming, bowling and dancing. She also enjoys photography. Favourite food is ‘fast food’. Personal motto would be “if you love your life and enjoy it, you are happy, then you can make others feel the same. Just be positive”.

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I’m a person of many talents; I showed a talent for foreign languages, especially german, english, french, and latin. I have also a natural talent for many kinds of sports.
Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I would most like to visit mexico because it’s a country with a lot of natural and social characteristics. The wealth of volcanoes, the pleasant climate, with a lot of interesting tourist destinations attract me; the folk is helpful and rich of history. The most interesting part of mexico, for me, is yucatan, the seed of the indian folk.
What is the best thing about your country?
Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the youngest countries in the world. Many folks, religions, and different traditions characterise this interesting country.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
My wish would be to feed the whole world and prevent new break out of wars
If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
I would choose my older sister, who has read the book ‘robinson crusoe’ a few times.
What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
My message to all the other miss world contestants is: to never give up working on the realisation of their wishes and dreams.
