Ambitious, adventurous, caring
Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
I can touch the back of my head with my feet…thanks to pilates!
Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
It is my burning desire to one day explore the pyramids of giza as they are believed to be the beginning of human civilization, which fascinates me. Also rumours have it that the authorities in egypt that protect ancient history are contemplating closing down public access to some of the pyramids, because it is believed that the gas exchange that occurs while tourists are in the pyramids lead to corrosion. So I would love to go explore these while I can.
What is the best thing about your country?
India, despite of being the worlds second most populated country, it is excelling in this modern world in all industries. Especially its innovation in the information technology which has made its it industry the fastest growing in the world. India has really started putting its people to the right use, and now leading companies are out sourcing work to indian youth due to india’s large speaking youth population. While modern india is like a flame to the world full of moths, it is just as rich in its culture, in its heritage and history, in its agriculture, in its hospitality and most of al rich in its potential.
This fusion of traditions and modernity that cannot be found anywhere else, is the best thing about my country.
What is your favourite…..
Film: ‘Lagan’. Before this international bollywood hit, it was said that nobody could ever make a film about cricket and sell it. It is a movie that brings out indian history, patriotism and the national sport cricket. As I am both a cricket lover and a patriot, Lagaan has a special place in my heart.
Music: Jazz – Pop – house and retro or simply anything I can move my feet to.
Singer/band: Alicia Keys - Norah Jones - Whitney Houston - u2
Book: ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ by Robert T. Kiyosaki
If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
I wish to be content in life
If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not whom would you choose?
Definitely someone I am close to because forming a new bond in a crisis situation could be a nightmare, so I would choose to be with my sister. We think very alike so it would help us stay calm and just enjoy our time on the island.
What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
All of us are beautiful in our own way and coming as far as a prestigious leg like miss world is a huge achievement in itself, so let’s enjoy ourselves, and give it 100%. One of us will leave with the coveted crown but let us all leave with a beautiful experience and new cherished friendships.
You’re judging the final five contestants, which question would you ask the finalists?
If you had a chance to be your country’s prime minister for one day, what would you like to do for your country?
