Dina Dzankovic

Dina was born and grew up in Novi Pazar, Serbia & Montenegro, this is a small country with a lot of history, traditions and culture. Currently a first year student at the university of management, after miss world she will be going on to take up her studies in france, where she has won a four year scholarship in interior design studies. Her ambition is to be a top interior designer. Hobbies are: painting, modern and oriental dance, listening to: R & B, Pop & ethnic, and volleyball. Favourite food is italian. Personal motto is “to be different is beautiful”.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
I’m very persistent, creative, curious, ambitious and with positive spirit. My curiosity makes me learn more about my life itself, by doing lots of different things and to have a better point of view about my personalities and desires, and that is the most important in order to learn about myself. Positive spirit is most important thing for me, because I cannot start a new day without a smile and a new hope and positive energy.

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
In my free time I’m dancing and I’m very talented in oriental dance.

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
I would like to travel around the world so I could meet all different cultures. Traditions, peoples, customs, religions. But I would like to visit ancient town samarqand the crossroad of different cultures and traditions.

What is the best thing about your country?
I come form a small country in the heart of europe with long history and the most beautiful nature. My nation, especially women, is very beautiful nation and very kind and good people because even when we have difficult times we always have a strong spirit and good sense of humour. You all have my invitation to come and visit serbia & montenegro, and to be sure in these words of mine.

If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
I would choose the famous actor chad murey because I like the characters he played in films and I would like to know if his personality has any similarity with those characters.

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
Belief in yourself and be persistence. Beauty is not enough if you have not self-confidence, education, strong personality and charisma. Beauty is a gift from god, it is a talent to use. Knowing to do that is your success.

You’re judging the final five contestants, which question would you ask the finalists?
If you become a miss world 2005 to what aim/ cause you would be most dedicated during your mandate?
