Nancy was born and grew up in Arusha, which is situated at the northern circuit of Tanzania, it is the home to several national parks and game reserves such as: serengeti national park, ngorongoro crater and tarangire game reserve, it also lies a few kilometres from the highest mountain in africa “mount kilimanjaro”. Nancy is currently waiting for her exam results, it is her ambition to go to college, pursue a bachelor of law degree (llb.) And later specialise in corporate administrative law. Hobbies and sporting interests are: singing, dancing, listening to music ( favourites being jazz, r & b, hip hop) badminton, beach volleyball, football, swimming and looking after her german shepherd dog named africa. Favourite food is spaghetti bolognaise and proudest moment was when she was selected as a spokeswoman for the youth committee. Nancy also has been blessed with the gift of being able to mimic. Personal motto is “aim for the star, so if you land on the clouds, it is just as good a cushion”.

Yes, I am able to mimic

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
Egypt to visit the most lovely pyramids

What is the best thing about your country?
It is a lovely peaceful and friendly country, rich in minerals, wildlife and vegetation and full of scenic beauties. Tanzania is famous for the highest mountain in africa, the mount kilimanjaro, which passes as the major tourist attraction together with being a symbol of strength and beauty.

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
To invent an affordable medicine which will cure hiv/aids

My dad, from him I would derive these qualities that would see us through the difficult situation

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
We are all beautiful, intelligent and able bodies, let us get together and fight social injustice against the women with one voice all over the world

You’re judging the final five contestants, which question would you ask the finalists?
From your point of view, how would you define ‘beauty with a purpose’?
