Precious was born in Lusaka, and lived there until 1982 when at the age of 14 she moved to Namibia, she is now living back in Lusaka. Zambia is home to one of the seven wonders of the world, the victoria falls, it is a country rich in natural resources, wildlife and its cultural heritage. Graduating from university with a degree in media studies & sociology, precious’ ambition is to continue with her studies and become one of the few women professors in zambia. Hobbies are: singing, dancing, cycling, reading and listening to; dancehall music, r & b and reggae. Sporting interests include high jump; long jump; tennis; and netball. Favourite food is: nshima, a traditional chicken dish. Her motto would be to emphases the fact that “education is the key to success and self empowerment, paving the way for a successful and bright future”.

Do you have a special or unusual talent? (what is it?)
Singing (R & B and ragga)

Where would you most like to visit in the world and why?
Egypt, Greece, Palestine, and Israel, because of the countries biblical background and sites

What is the best thing about your country?
The people, Zambians are very hospitable. The biggest smiles you will get in Africa What is your favourite... Film: 'Sound of Music'

If you were granted one wish, what would it be?
I would wish for world peace. World peace is the solution to many of the world’s hindrances for equal development.

If you were stuck on a desert island with one other person (famous or not) whom would you choose?
Oprah Winfrey – endless stories of people she has interviewed, and positive thinking that we shall soon be rescued.

What is your message to all the other miss world contestants?
This chance comes once in a lifetime and now that this is our year, let us interact and learn about one another’s countries and diverse culture.
