What are your interests and what do you enjoy doing the most?
I consider myself to be a very personable individual who enjoys socializing, and meeting people, especially those from different cultural backgrounds, stirs my interests the most. Dancing, modeling, traveling, listening to music (varied), and reading a good book also ignite my interest.
Name one person other than your parents who has had the most influence on your life. Why?
Rosa Parks because the strength of an individual is measured by his/her determination to succeed. Rosa Parks shows the world that a single individual can and does make a difference by her ability to stand up for what she believes. To me, that is a solid example of how to live life.
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I intend to become an economist. For the past two years I have been studying economics at the Antigua State College, the nation's top college.
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born in Guyana, but emigrated to Antigua & Barbuda at a very young age. I was raised in the Ottos area, just outside of the capital of St. John's. Growing up on a small island is like having an extended family. You get to know your neighbors on a personal basis and friendships are easily established. Island life is simply paradise. You will know it once you've experienced it.
What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
I am from a cultural background that is different from other contestants. This is exhibited in every aspect of my daily life. My personality traits and my ability to adapt to and make friends easily are truly unique.
